I have added lots of fabric again. Lots of batiks. In fact I think I am almost current. Please check out the store.

The quilt called "Metamorphous" has been excepted into the Hoffman challenge and will travel this year.

It was a lot of fun to make and was a thrill to have it selected to travel.

My family has moved into the country a couple of miles. We love our house. I am so tired of moving I think we will stay put for a spell. I do not yet have my quilting area together, but perhaps this winter I will find the time to sew again.

Gold Foil on Fabric

This is so easy and fun. You will need:

A piece of solid or semi solid fabric to stamp on, a rubber stamp, embossing pad, gold foil.

Place the stamp on the embossing pad and get as wet as possible. Stamp the image onto the fabric, immediately place a piece of gold foil on the stamped portion of the fabric. Place your pressing cloth over the top and rub gently with your hand. Heat press with a warm iron. Uncover and use an old toothbrush to gently brush off the excess foil.
